French Lilac - French Lilac captures the scent of a field of lilacs in peak bloom. This floral scent contains notes of green leaves, lily of the valley, and honeysuckle.Great River Candle Co candles and wax melts are hand poured, in small batches ensuring that each product has been made with time and care. If a product does not meet our quality standards we won't sell it for full price. We offer mystery candles and wax melts, these are items that have not met our quality standards and we do not feel comfortable changing full price for. Always trim your wick before each use, This can be done by removing all charred wood from previous burns. If the wick is not trimmed it may not stay lit long enough to fuel the flame, causing it to extinguish itself. To trim a wooden wick remove all charred wood, which can be knocked off with the end of a lighter.2. Make sure to allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter of your candle on the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling, which can impact how well the candle burns.WHY SOY WAX?Most candles in the market are typically made from paraffin wax. Paraffin wax is derived from crude oils which can produce carcinogens and other toxic chemicals when burned. Paraffin wax is also notorious for emitting harmful vapors, soot, and does not burn as long. However, Soy wax is derived from SoyBeans which makes it non toxic, all-natural, and vegan. Our candles are produced from SoyBeans that are harvested in the midwest. Soy wax candles not only burn cleaner, burn completely, but also burn longer.At Great River Candle Co. we believe in being environmentally conscious, and have spent the extra work to ensure that all of our packaging is plastic free.
